This course will focus on the pros and cons to using subcontractor labor.  Topics discussed the impact subcontractors have with regard to Wage and Hour, licensing, OSHA, worker's compensation, taxes and liability.   The seminar will also discuss beneficial subcontract provisions. Course material is 50% commercial and 50% residential.  

1. Learn the pros and cons of using subcontractor labor 
2. Determine the risks of mis-characterizing or mis-classifying subcontractors 
3. Learn about beneficial subcontract provisions that will help protect roofers from potential liability 
4. Review and revise policies and procedures to conform with current laws regarding the use of subcontractors 
5. Pros and Cons to using Subcontractor Labor
